The Arizona Cardinals were originally founded in Chicago in 1898 and were a charter member of the NFL in 1920. They hold the distinction of being the oldest continually run professional football franchise in the nation. The team moved to St. Louis in 1960 and played there through 1987. In 1988 the Cardinals moved to Tempe, Arizona and later changed their name to the Arizona Cardinals. At first they played their home games at Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium and then in 2006 they moved to the newly built University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. The Cardinals have fourteen players enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They have played in six playoff games and reached Super Bowl XLIII in 2008. With the help of head coach Ken Whisenhunt the Cardinals are looking forward to a successful 2011 season. Buy your Cardinal tickets today! Go Cardinals!
