Tulane Football Wraps Up Spring Campaign with 65-Play Scrimmage

The Tulane football team completed its second spring campaign under head coach Curtis Johnson this morning with a 65-play scrimmage that was highlighted by a pair long touchdown throws by redshirt freshman quarterback Devin Powell while senior receiver Ryan Grant grabbed a pair of touchdown passes in the 15th and final practice at the Saints Indoor Facility.

Tulane Football Concludes Third Week of Spring Practice with 70-Play Scrimmage

The Tulane football team concluded its third week of spring practice this morning with a 70-play scrimmage that was highlighted by a 309-yard, 4-touchdown effort by the Green Wave offense, while the TU defense came up with a goal line stand and eight pass break-ups in cool, windy conditions at City Park's Tad Gormley Stadium.

Tulane Athletics will host a "Saturday with the Green Wave" this Saturday, March 2 at Tad Gormley Stadium in City Park that will feature a trio of events, beginning with the Tulane 5K at 8 a.m., followed by the Green Wave football team's annual spring game at 10:15 a.m. and will conclude with the TU track & field team's "Tulane Team Challenge" at 1:15 p.m.
